Dr. Gabriela Simion-Howard is Professor of Education-Teacher Preparation Program at Dallas College, where she prepares future early childhood and bilingual educators. Educated in Romania, Austria and The United States, she brings over 30 years of experience across Europe and North America, from diverse learning programs to teaching graduate educational leadership. A multilingual educator, she holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership with a specialization in TESOL from Concordia University Chicago. Her research on global competence, cultural responsiveness, and multilingual learners had been presented at various national and international conferences, also publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Recently, she started serving as Secretary of the TABE (Texas Association of Bilingual Educators) Board of Directors serving a variety of Texas educators.
