Ms. Loretta Corbisiero-Drakos

Loretta Corbisiero-Drakos – arts educator, administrator, and researcher focusing on the transformative role of arts integration in student learning, educator development, and community. As the Program Administrator for Arts in Education, she supports educational experiences in 60+ school districts on Long Island, NY, has led federally funded arts initiatives, and is an adjunct professor of art history. Her curatorial and scholarly practice extends internationally through lectures and essays. She holds an M.S.Ed. in Educational Administration, an M.A. in Art History and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School District Leadership. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at St. John’s University, Queens, NY.
